With my Klyp Styx Systym, I have built a 90 piece floating compression (A structure where the compression supporting members are suspended in a tensile network, so that they never touch each other.) with the symmetry of the truncated icosahedron. The truncated icosahedron ( the fimiliar pattern of a soccer ball) is spherical enough that it behaves like a sloppy ball, very similar to a drop of water. And with Klyp Styx I can change the tension of the elastic network and explore many surface tension effects .

I have invented the slickest, quickest system for building polyhedra and other geometric structures. With this system I have created many structures that I believe are original. I call the system The Klyp Styx Systym (pronounced “clip sticks”).
Klyp Styx was first designed to make tensegeties but over the years I have found wayes of making many other types of structures. I now make rigid and dynamic structures. The dynamic ones can fold, or expand or even pop up out of thin air.
These things interest me and I would like to discuss them with like minded people.
